My husband Bob Fujimoto, my son Jeff Fujimoto, and I enjoyed knowing Walt at First Methodist portland. Walt and Jeff served together on the “Shovel and Rake Gang,” helping to maintain the church grounds. Walt would sometimes clip roses from the church grounds and give them to me for the coffee table after worship. He took such good care of the roses and they were always beautiful! He is missed!
